Late Sri.P.Veeraswamy B.E ( Mechanical ) JNTU Kakinada
Retd Addl Commissioner of Industries Andhra Pradesh
Retd Addl Commissioner of Industries Andhra Pradesh
Namaskaram , Thank you for giving me this opportunity .My name is Sucharitha ,many of you know me as Monica.I am Veeraswamy gaari mena kodalu.
As a child I used to travel with Attama & mammaya ( Aunt & Uncle ) often. He Loved to travel. I got that quality from him.
In my youth when I went for my engineering counseling mammaya took time and interest to accompany us and he encouraged me to take Mechanical engineering seat in Hyderabad .He also guided me to do a project in BHEL Hyderabad in Gas turbine department, because of that thesis project I got an oppurtunity to work for United states Navy .Thus he was my Mentor and guide. He was very proud of me and my accomplishments and told everyone that ” I was also a Mechanical Engineer just like him “.The word of God says do all things without murmuring {Phil 2:14} and I have witnessed this as I have never heard him murmur about anything ,Ever.
He was very Kind , generous, loved people I witnessed this all my life as at least 10′s of random people would sup for lunch or dinner at his home everyday. Humble, Modest, very down to earth, always happy, peaceful with calm personality. He was a person of integrity, he was a responsible family man, his smile was contagious and his positive attitude was a inspiration to many. These characteristics made him a true christian and a good human being.
I believe that everything happens for a reason , I thank God that HE lead me and ordained me to be present at his death bed. After the ritual cleansing has been done and he was dressed I noticed that his hands and feet were dry ,one of our related applied lotion on his feet, I applied lotion on his hands . I pondered on that thought later that night after the burial was complete. Rubbing lotion on his hands now means a lot to me and I hope I rubbed off some of his charm, grace and luck.
As a tribute all immediate family member are wearing white / half white outfits as its mammaya’s favorite color.
He is my hero, It’s my honor and previledge to be related to such a great man , I will miss him and will cherish his memories. May God rest his soul in peace.
