Minerva had been my all tiem favorite. When I first ate there I called my mum and said “Minerva inti vanta maripinchindi ” ( I missed home cooking , but after eating @ Minerva I forgot that feeling ) .
Year ago when I lived in VA ( back in 2001 , 2002 ) drove for 45 mins to get to VA, sometimes even 3 hours just to eat at Minerva. The choices were many and taste was awesome.
Well Its south Indian ( Typical Hyderabadi / Andhra Style )
Over the years Minerva lost its Magic …the taste fell ..its still not bad …its worth trying but you might not be 100% content .
I know and have friends who are addicts of this place ..but I wish Minerva is restored to its former glory.
Over all – taste is Moderate ( NOW )
Price – Worth for the variety they have.
Weekends – Get there before 1 pm ..dont be a typical desi and wait till the last 1/2 of their closing time. Else there is a long wait .

This is a north Indian resturant , but a must go if your Northy or South Indian .

Good Music
Quantity is great.
Atmosphere is pleasing.
If you want to go on a date or spend money on good Indian food this is your choice. Loved it and enjoyed the food.

Akbar and House of India Compete on who is the worst. They are pretty close to each other . Seems like they have the same chef.
Please dont waste your money there. Again very little choice and poor taste.

I decided to write reviews on Restaurants because I think it’s my civic responsibility to notify fellow Indians what they are going to experience when visiting for the 1st time.
If you have a better experiences please update us.
I have been to this restaurant for lunch and it Sucks.
The choices are very few.
It’s not worth for the money $$$$ you pay.
Some Americans were spotted complaining about unclean plates.
So there is a hygiene problem too.
Eat at your own risk.
Service below average.
Its better to buy ready to eat stuff and eat at home.
As there is scale to describe taste. Worst I have ever eaten.
