JESUS IS LOVE
Father
Help Your children
And don’t let them fall
By the side of the road, mmm…mmm…
And teach them
To love one another
That Heaven might find
A place in their hearts
‘Cause Jesus is love
He won’t let you down
And I know He’s mine forever
Oh, in my heart
We’ve got to walk on
Walk on through temptation
‘Cause His love and His wisdom
Will be our helpin’ hand
And I know the Truth
And His words will be our salvation
Lift up our hearts
To be thankful and glad
That Jesus is love
He won’t let you down
And I know He’s mine
Deep down in my soul
Jesus is love
Oh, yes, He is
He won’t let you down
And I know He’s mine, He’s mine, He’s mine, He’s mine, all mine
Forever, oh, in my heart
Help me, heart, heart
Ooh…ooh…
(Deep in my heart)
I know, I know, I know, I know
Ah, ’cause His love’s the power (Power)
His love’s the glory (Glory)
Forever (Ever and ever)
Ooh, yeah (Yeah, yeah)
Ooh, yeah (Yeah, yeah)
Ooh, yeah, yeah (Yeah, yeah)
I wanna follow your star
Wherever it leads me
And I don’t mind, Lord
I hope you don’t mind
I wanna walk with you
And talk with you
And do all the things you want me to do
‘Cause I know that Jesus
(Jesus is Love, I know) ‘Cause I know, Lord
(And if you ask, I’ll show)
(Love is the word forever) And ever and ever
Who can bring you love (Jesus)
Who can bring you joy (Jesus)
Who can turn your life around (Jesus), oh
Ooh, yeah (Yeah, yeah)
Yeah (Yeah, yeah)
Hey
Who will pick you up (Jesus)
When you fall (Jesus)
Who’ll stand beside you (Jesus)
Who will love us all
Hey, hey, Jesus (Yeah, yeah)
Jesus (Yeah, yeah)
Oh, yeah (Yeah, yeah)
One thing I wanna say
Who can heal your body (Jesus)
Who can make you strong (Jesus)
Who can help you to hold out (Jesus)
A little while longer
Ooh, yeah (Yeah, yeah)
Yeah (Yeah, yeah)
Jesus loves you (Yeah, yeah), Jesus wants you
If you call Him, He will answer
(Jesus) Call him in the mornin’
(Jesus) Call him in the evenin’
(Jesus) Call him in the midnight hour
Hey, hey (Yeah, yeah)
Yeah (Yeah, yeah)
Yeah, yeah (Yeah, yeah)
Yeah, y’all say it for me
(Jesus is love)
~CONTENT IN GOD’S GREAT LOVE~

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.”Philippians 4: 11 KJV
It has been said that guilt is concerned with the past, worry is concerned about the future, but contentme enjoys the present. Today is a gift from God to enjoy. The present really is “a present” from our Lord. We can rejoice and be glad each day. When we love God and also each other, we find life is more rewarding and have true joy of the Lord in our heart. Your worst days are never so bad that you are beyond the reach of God’s grace. And, your best days are never so good that you are beyond the need of God’s grace.
With God’s grace in our lives, we can face whatever comes our way. He who endures unto the end, the same shall be saved. Through it all, we learn to trust in God and can have a peace that passes the world’s understanding. Regardless of the physical conditions, we can be content knowing Jesus is our Great Physician. It makes no difference if we are in want or have plenty, Jesus is Jehovah-Jirah, our Provider. He is our Helper, Healer, Hope, and Head of the Body of Christ. If one ever feels they are at the point where Jesus is all they have, they will find Jesus is all they need.
Our Lord is the supplier of every need when we heed His commands and love Him with our whole heart. We do not have to be concerned with the past, as our sins are gone. They are underneath the blood of the cross of Calvary. The future is in God’s hands so why should we worry? Our trust is in God and we can enjoy the present, although we must plan for the future and work for the Lord. Our times are in His hands and God has a plan for our lives which will come to pass in His time and way. Contentment comes from learning how to have peace in whatever state we may be.
Our joy and happiness is not dependant on the circumstances around us, but on who lives within us. Through Christ our Lord, we can have joy in the midst of trials, triumph in the midst of tears, and a testimony through all life’s many trials. Knowing Christ who lives within and is greater than any earthly problem gives us great peace as we lean on Him. We cannot trust in our own power or strength, but must learn to lean on Jesus. It is only by His Spirit that we can have true contentment and satisfaction in this life.
Jesus will always be there. His promises will never fail!
We can be content with Christ and have great peace when our life is in the Lord as we love God, and each other. Expresses contentment in every condition of life.It is a good work to succour and help a good minister in trouble. The nature of true Christian sympathy is not only to feel concern for our friends in their troubles, but to do what we can to help them. The apostle was often in bonds, imprisonments, and necessities; but in all, he learned to be content, to bring his mind to his condition, and make the best of it.
Pride, unbelief, vain hankering after something we have not got, and fickle disrelish of present things, make men discontented even under favourable circumstances. Let us pray for patient submission and hope when we are abased; for humility and a heavenly mind when exalted. It is a special grace to have an equal temper of mind always. And in a low state not to lose our comfort in God, nor distrust his providence, nor take any wrong course for our own supply. In a prosperous condition not to be proud, or secure, or worldly.
This is a harder lesson than the other; for the temptations of fulness and prosperity are more than those of affliction and want. The apostle had no design to urge them to give more, but to encourage such kindness as will meet a glorious reward hereafter. Through Christ we have grace to do what is good, and through him we must expect the reward; and as we have all things by him, let us do all things for him, and to his glory. (Php 4:20-23)
VARIETY OF CROSS
If I wrote a note to God
If I wrote a note to God
I would speak whats in my soul
I’d ask for all the hate to be swept away,
For love to overflow
If I wrote a note to God
I’d pour my heart out on each page
I’d ask for war to end
For peace to mend this world
I’d say, I’d say, I’d say
Give us the strength to make it through
Help us find love cause love is over due
And it looks like we haven’t got a clue
Need some help from you
Grant us the faith to carry on
Give us hope when it seems all hope is gone
Cause it seems like so much is goin wrong
On this road we’re on
If I wrote a note to God
I would say what on my mind
I’d ask for wisdom to let compassion rule this world
Until these times
If I wrote a note to God
I’d say please help us find our way
End all the bitterness, put some tenderness in our hearts
And I’d say, I’d say, I’d say
Give us the strength to make it through
Help us find love cause love is over due
And it looks like we haven’t got a clue
Need some help from you
Grant us the faith to carry on
Give us hope when it seems all hope is gone
Cause it seems like so much is goin wrong
On this road we’re on
No, no no no
We can’t do this on our own
So
Give us the strength to make it through
Help us find love cause love is over due
And it looks like we haven’t got a clue
Need some help from you
Grant us the faith to carry on
Give us hope when it seems all hope is gone
Cause it seems like so much is goin wrong

On January 24, 1791, President George Washington commissioned Major Pierre L’Enfant to create a visionary plan for the nation’s capital. It was L’Enfant who first imagined “a great church for national purposes.” Not until a century later, with support from community leaders such as Charles C. Glover, did plans for building Washington National Cathedral gain momentum.
The longest-running construction project in Washington, D.C., history officially began on September 29, 1907, when workmen laid the Cathedral’s foundation stone. President Theodore Roosevelt and the Bishop of London spoke to a crowd of ten thousand. The stone itself came from a field near Bethlehem and was set into a larger piece of American granite. On it was the inscription: “The Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us” (John 1:14).

Short prayers for various situations
God, thank You for always having my best in mind. I know that You love me and want the best for Your children. Help me to be faithful to You. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Short prayers for various situations
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;where there is hatred, let me sow love;where there is injury, pardon;where there is discord, union;where there is doubt, faith;where there is despair, hope;where there is darkness, light;where there is sadness, joy.Grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled,as to console;to be understood as to understand;to be loved, as to love. For it is in giving that we receive;it is in pardoning that we are pardoned;it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen.
God be in my head, and in my understanding;God be in my eyes, and in my looking;God be in my mouth, and in my speaking;God be in my heart, and in my thinking;God be in my end, and at my departing.
In darkness and in light,in trouble and in joy, help us, heavenly Father,to trust your love,to serve your purpose, and to praise your name, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
